The following graphics were made near-real-time with GFS model data. There are four datasets per day at 00,06,12,18 hours. We process 54h of data at 3h intervals. Therefore, for a given time in the furture there can be up to <tt>54/3=18</tt> forecasts. However, for a time several hours ahead of the current date, this whole set of 18 forecasts are not present -- simply because some of the model running times are still in the future! (or in the recent past, which we have not yet processed.) | |||
