I needed to export some graphs created in Open-office Spreadsheet program to high quality (vector)  PDF to include in a LaTeX document. Many attempts did not work out well. Here's what Worked (with Open Office 3.2.0)
1. Copy the graph to clipboard

2. Paste it as "Star object descriptor (XML)" (Use paste special) in a new document of Open Office Drawing Program.

3. Resize the paper to fit the chart

I needed to export some graphs created in Open-office Spreadsheet program to high quality (vector) PDF to include in a LaTeX document. Many attempts did not work out well. Here's what Worked (with Open Office 3.2.0)

  1. Copy the graph to clipboard
  2. Paste it as "Star object descriptor (XML)" (Use paste special) in a new document of Open Office Drawing Program.
  3. Resize the paper to fit the chart
  4. Export as PDF
