I needed to export some graphs created in Open-office Spreadsheet program to high quality (vector) PDF to include in a LaTeX document. Many attempts did not work out well. Here's what Worked (with Open Office 3.2.0)
- Copy the graph to clipboard
- Paste it as "Star object descriptor (XML)" (Use paste special) in a new document of Open Office Drawing Program.
- Resize the paper to fit the chart
- Export as PDF
