Route Planners

  • mapfan.com is arguably the best resource for maintaining a libarary of spots and planning journeys (in Japanese). Can be used without registation. But free registration allows the string of locations. This makes the route planning a breeze!
  • For using expressways (toll-roads) hi-navi is better than mapfan. No step by step guide with maps, but much easier to use together with a map of expressways. (in Japanese)
  • English: Perhaps google earth is a good resource.
